After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine Novel

The renowned God of War of Great Liang, Huo Wujiu, was captured, his meridians severed and legs broken. Humiliated, he was gifted as a concubine to an enemy ruler's brother. After three years of enduring suffering, Huo Wujiu escaped, healed his legs, and returned to Great Jing. He avenged himself by storming the enemy capital, killing the ruler, razing the city, and displaying the brother's head for three years, uniting the world. A history lecturer, critical of a student's thesis on Huo Wujiu, transmigrates into the body of that very concubine prince. He finds himself facing a vengeful, disabled General Huo arriving in a wedding sedan. Realizing the legend's grim future for him, the lecturer, now Jiang Suizhou, must protect General Huo amidst political schemes and the ruler's humiliation, hoping to survive three years. He doesn't expect anything from his "concubine." However, General Huo’s legs heal before the three years pass. He then overthrows the ruler, unifies the land, and, surprisingly, insists on maintaining his concubine status with Jiang Suizhou.
