Samuel was a novelist who found solace only in creating and reading stories. With financially comfortable parents supporting him, he had no need for employment and could dedicate himself entirely to his passion for literature. However, his peaceful existence came to an abrupt end when his deteriorating health claimed his life. In his final moments, he attempted to write a letter of gratitude to his parents but was unable to complete it. Upon his death, Samuel awakens in Blade Of Destiny, the very world he had authored. Rather than being reincarnated as the protagonist or a significant character, he discovers himself trapped as Lucas Darkheart, a mere extra with no established role or backstory in his own creation. Confused and uncertain about his new identity, Samuel must grapple with the mystery of who Lucas truly is and whether this unnamed character holds more significance than his negligible status would suggest.
