Horror Game Designer Novel

A renowned horror game designer confides in their doctor about a disturbing phenomenon: the game they created appears to be manifesting into reality. The doctor dismisses the concern, suggesting that games provide a healthy escape from workplace stress, allowing players to experience their dreams in a safe environment. However, the designer reveals the troubling source of their unease. Over their career, they have designed over one hundred and twenty-six murder cases and created dozens of distinct murderer characters. To develop authentic material, they studied ninety-five thriller films, consumed more than four hundred horror comics, and accumulated a collection of two thousand urban legends. Now, all of this dark content—the fictional murders, the character archetypes, the stories they consumed—appears to be coming true in the real world. The doctor responds with an unsettling question: "So… do I look familiar to you?"—suggesting they might be one of the murderer characters the designer created.
