Jiaochen Novel

"Jiaochen" by Shi Xingcao tells the story of Fu Yanzhi, an acclaimed and emotionally distant doctor at Diyi Hospital, known for his self-reliance and unapproachable demeanor. His solitary existence is disrupted by the frequent visits of a strikingly beautiful designer who favors traditional cheongsams. A year later, their relationship culminates in a marriage certificate. The novel explores themes of doctors, modern day settings, romance, and pregnancy, featuring accomplished individuals where the female lead's life is not solely defined by pursuing the male lead.
