Marvel: Shadow Monarch Novel

Lucien Reynolds is transported to the Marvel universe following Wanda's depowering of the majority of the mutant population on M-Day. With mutants deemed no longer a significant threat due to their drastically reduced numbers, approximately two hundred surviving mutants are relocated to a secure facility. While Lucien manages to retain his mutation, he becomes imprisoned within a research facility until he is unexpectedly chosen to become the next Shadow Monarch. This fanfiction diverges from typical Marvel stories through extensive worldbuilding and carefully selected comic storylines. Rather than relying on contrived power scaling, the narrative maintains logical consistency in character abilities and conflicts. The author commits to regular chapter releases, targeting daily updates with a minimum of five chapters weekly. The story incorporates major comic events including Civil War, The War of the Realms, and King in Black, while minimizing multiverse elements to preserve narrative coherence.
