My Goalkeeping System Novel

Dave Richards, a goalkeeper for Unique FC, was undeniably poor at his position. He lacked speed, jumping ability, and proper ball-handling skills, yet remained the team's starter simply because no other goalkeeper was available. The team survived largely due to their defensive efforts compensating for his inadequate goalkeeping. He returned home dejected and angry at those who claimed he resembled his grandfather and would inherit his poor goalkeeping abilities. That night, Dave discovered a hidden door beneath his room. Inside was a mysterious black box that felt oddly familiar. Upon opening it, a blinding white light engulfed him. When his vision cleared, a female voice greeted him with two messages displayed before him: "Welcome Dave" and "You have activated the Goalkeeping system." This is the story of how an ordinary man, lost between the goalposts, transformed from nothing into a professional goalkeeper.
