Path of the Extra Novel

Leo, a seventeen-year-old who lost his parents and younger sister in a devastating accident, has been struggling alone for four months—balancing school, multiple jobs, and the weight of pitying stares. His sole comfort comes from reading, offering brief escape from his harsh reality. While reading "Path of Heroes: Battle Against the End," Leo's life changes dramatically. Midway through the novel, he suddenly awakens in its world, now inhabiting Azriel Crimson—a character who doesn't appear in the book's first half. He has become an extra, a seemingly insignificant figure with no apparent role in the main story. However, Leo quickly learns that fate has different plans. Despite being cast as a background character irrelevant to the plot, circumstances suggest his role may be far more significant than initially apparent. What seemed like an unfortunate—or perhaps fortunate—twist of fate may hold greater meaning than he could have imagined.
