He travels with a pharmaceutical heiress devoted to him after reading his books, and a mentally underdeveloped giant Dragonite with extraordinary strength. While frequently stumbling into situations that make him a wanted fugitive, Natsume's true ambition is building a Mecha Robot. Given his tendency to poison himself with homemade experiments, his survival long enough to complete this project remains uncertain.
