Shepherding Humanity Novel

In the vast and mysterious tribal era, ancient peoples discovered the terrifying reality of God's presence on their world. A colossal Wise Beast, ten thousand feet tall, could crush mountains and shatter the earth. Centuries later, humanity not only survived this perilous environment but triumphed over the giant beasts, establishing the glorious Sumerian civilization. However, their triumph was short-lived. The Wise Beast reappeared, devastating the nation, collapsing cities, and leveling the land and sky. This event raises the question: has God descended to punish mankind? The narrative reveals a divine perspective: humanity is simply insignificant "ants" in a creator's "yard," accidentally stepped on during passage. This story explores the relationship between a somewhat disappointing Creator and his exceptionally capable creations, set against a backdrop of immense power, ancient civilizations, and cosmic-scale events.
