Kristin's Pov
“Kristrin you need to see this” Kyle shouted from across the room.
“What is it” I questioned.
We were currently hanging out at my home, trying to hatch a plan on getting Anna away from Maria. We had gotten quite some disturbing info about Maria and now knew she was not the type to be played with.
“I think this is something you definitely need to see” he stated again pushing my curiosity.
He was mainly focused on his computer which was not knew to me, I made my way over there to get a glimpse of what might of caught his attention. And what I saw was definitely a surprise to me.
“Dude, what are you gonna do” he asked stunned as I was.
“When was this article posted?” I inquired.
“That's the other surprising part of it, this article was posted just six months ago” he replied bewildered.
“And you would think that Anna would have some sort of idea about this” he carried on stupidly.
It was a terrifying article written “Bizarre encounters” a Middleton school student, sets a couple on fire while they were said to be on a date, the school student was said to have been sent to a psychiatrist facility to get help meanwhile both student that we're on the date is said to be in critical condition”
The part that got most of my attention, was the photo of Maria on the article.
“Do you really think this could be her, maybe she has some sort of twin or something” Marco replied. Which was of course not the case as Bella had stated to me before that Maria was an only child.
“Do you think she might be on medication, since she haven't showed any sign of being crazy.....I take that back or it could be a possibility she's good at hiding it” Maurice said looking concerned.
“Definitely not, she reeks of jealousy and to go through all of that, just to get Anna away from you, clearly it shows she's off her medication” Kyle spoke up.
“How does a teenager manages to do that and clean up after herself without even a slight trace” Maurice questioned. Which had me thinking someone could definitely be behind this.
“I don't think she should be in the same house as Anna and if this is actually Maria right here, she's way too dangerous to even be around Anna” Steff butted in.
“That makes two of us” Kyle agreed and I could understand there concern as they had gotten very attached and over protective towards my Bella.
“It's not gonna be that easy, now that we know we're actually dealing with a psychopath, she might retaliate in a way that we have no idea” I told, “It's best we take precaution”
“For sure, after hearing those sick and twisted things she did to Scott and Regina and let's just say Regina is far from a push over, I think we're gonna need some help with this one”
“It's a lucky thing Regina and Scott came forth and told us everything they knew about her, without them your girlfriend would probably be err..... never mind” Maurice carried on without thinking.
“I kind of have something to confess also......., the first time when we went to the football party and Anna got drunk....... Maria had kind of convinced me to get Anna drunk so she would actually have fun” Steff said nervously taking a step back which I completely understand.
“You were the one that had my Bella drunk at some stupid party?” I asked quietly trying not to throw a fit which was impossible not to do after hearing what he had just said.
“Well it was just a little joke to get her to lighten up” he responded taking another step back as I took one forth.
“It was just a little joke huh?” I questioned laughing as if it was the most funniest thing I'd heard, “You got my woman drunk at some f*cking party and you know the funny thing about, when I went there and saw my woman about to be hit by Regina, you weren't there anything could've happened” I laughed.
“W..well I was there but I had gone to get Anna a paper towel but when I came back you were already there but when you put it that way I'm........sorry” he confessed, looking defeated.
From the corner of my eyes I could see all three of the guys standing, ready to take action if there was something to happen.
“Yes but I'm not”
And in the snap of an eye, I was before him throwing punches, when I felt two pair of hand pulling me off him.
He was my own flesh and blood and although we've not gotten along in most cases, I love him as if he was my own brother. The reason why I and McCollum doesn't get along goes way back.
He stood up in front of me, face held down, eye's close, tears streaming down his face, his nose was broken with blood pooling down and hands fisted together. He looked much defeated but I didn't care, the only thing that was on my mind was protecting Bella in every way possible.
“You got your best friend drunk, a lot of things could have happened that night, for instance they could've taken advantage of her and most of all you betrayed her trust and her family in the snap of an eye for what, a puny girl McCollum?!” I grimaced seething with anger.
“What the hell is he talking about Steff and what happened to your face?!" His girlfriend who just came in shreaked.
“It's nothing Ariel, there's something I need to finish here, could you wait outside please” he begged her.
“No, if this involves you and some girl I want to know and you promised you wouldn't keep any secrets from me remember?” she told him looking for supplies to assist his stupid face I presume.
“Yes Steff why don't you tell her” I smirked, “I'm sure she'd love to hear” I tainted.
I know I was being a cruel bastard but that was what I am and what he deserved for putting my Bella in trouble.
“Kristrin I don't think it's a good idea for you to get into there affairs” Maurice said and I glared.
“Why would you get Anna drunk, and is there something that your not telling me?”
“Can't you just do what I tell you?!” he yelled at her.
It seemed she was caught off guard but quickly ran out after realizing what Steff had done. He then quickly ran off to apologise I presume.
“Dude that was cold, he's been guarding her since she was a baby, it was one mistake” Marco told.
“Yes, one big fat ugly mistake that could've harmed Bella in a devastating way, it should've never happened!” I yelled.
“I think he learned his lesson so there's no need to carry on bro, take it easy, we need to now focus on Bella's safety” Kyle spoke.
“But on a serious note are you seriously planning on letting her stay there even after knowing what Maria's about just so your cover is not blown, to hell with that if you think I'll let her stay in the same house as Maria!” Kyle yelled and I could tell her was aggravated as much as I was.
“Stop thinking irrational, Bella's not the only one in danger, obviously I'm gonna need some more information about this” I replied now agitated.
“Her parents most know of this, why would they have sent her here if she's sick, do you think there's some connections behind all of this?” Marco enquired.
“It seems so” I stated calming myself with a bottle of whiskey. It was a good thing my parents had gone on a date.
“So your saying she managed to do all this plus get Regina to be her puppet, manipulated Scott into doing stuff and now she's going after Anna, all because of you, she must be really obsessed with you” Marco voiced his unwanted opinion.
“If this wasn't crazy enough I'd say you need to teach me how to get woman that crazy for me” Maurice added unfortunately.
“Don't you think that even if Anna stays there, there's a possibility that something might happen, she'd be in more danger” Kyle spoke.
Marco opened his mouth to speak and I knew it was nothing good,“Dude why can't you just have a normal love life and not a Halloween for a relationship?”
“Maurice, what insight did you find about Maria?” I asked ignoring Marco's previous question.
“Not much just that she makes a lot of unknown calls from multiple numbers just out side of town” he replied and I nodded.
“Try to pull up the recordings” I finished.
“Astonishingly there's no recordings of any of her calls which makes me believe she's not alone”
“Do you have any insight on where her parents might be?” I questioned further.
“No not yet”
Hopefully Bella's parents have some sort of idea about this, “Bella's parents are gonna have to know about this so they can be prepared for anything”
“Where is Anna by the way?” Marco questioned.
“She's out with Antonio and Vicky, I currently have a spy tracking all of Maria's moves”
“Ok good” they all seemed satisfied.
I settled within my chair trying to think of my next plan but it seemed faith had bigger plans because next thing I knew, “Kristrin, this is urgent!” Steff ran into the room, extending his phone towards me, I waited not a second later scrambling to get to it.
My heart raced rapidly within my chest, unsure of what I'm about to hear. Steff seemed as if he was on the verge of crying. Spiking my heart rate even faster.
“Hello?!” I yelled through the phone only to hear the sobbing voice of Bella.
“Princess what is it?” My chest tightened hearing her sobbing, I looked towards Steff to see him walking back and forth on edge.
“Bella baby where are you, what happened, please answer me?” I questioned anxiously trying my best to sound calm.
“K..kristrin, An...Antonio's g..gone missing”
