Talking to Don Guillermo.
Don Guillermo was already sitting down from his throne-like chair in the pool area. He decided that we would talk there so that no one would disturb us. I didn't howl there. Well, we are in the mansion of Wrum. I don't think anything bad will happen to me.
Wrum wouldn’t have agreed. He wanted us to talk on the sofa while he listened, but I just told him that was okay with me. He didn't have to worry because I was in his mansion.
I also sat across from Don Guillermo as Wim put the juice on the glass table. After he did that he immediately turned away from us as well.
Don Guillermo and I are the only ones here. I immediately saw his wide smile when I turned to him.
"Good to see you again Silic." he initially told me. "So I guess, you know what we're going to talk about right now. I meant to wait for you — I meant to wait for you to tell you this."
"Tell me what happened to my father. You probably didn't kill him, did you?" I asked him. Damn it. I'm nervous right now. "I don't want to hear any lies from you Don Guillermo. Just tell me the truth."
He drank the juice and then sat down slightly in his seat. "Do I have to tell you Silic that your father isn't with me? Or you just didn't get what I wanted to convey to you?"
I just sighed. "I know what you want to convey Don Guillermo. I know you want to send my father to Wrum."
He laughed at what I told him. Even though there was nothing really funny in what I told him. He likes crazy.
"You trust the wrong person," he said and I was just surprised. "You trust the lies instead of the truth."
I clear my throat. "What do you mean, Don Guillermo?"
"Okay then, I won't prolong this. I also want you to know that your father is not with me and I am telling the truth." Liar. "The truth is that your father is with my son. Have you ever remember what he said? If you forgot, well, I'll tell you this again. He said that he is going to take care of you and your father." he added.
I remember what Wrum told me before. My God. I shouldn’t believe Don Guillermo. He is a liar. He can't be trusted.
"You're lying to me again Don Guillermo. You thought you could lead me to your lies again? Hell no." I raised my eyebrows. "Now tell me the truth."
I looked at him while he just kept smiling. I hope everyone is smiling even if the person in front of him will almost faint from the nervousness she feels and my brain will almost explode with the events.
"I already told you the truth," he said to me. "Well, I just forgot to tell you something."
"What is it?" I ask.
"Have you ever been to the underground floor of this mansion?" he asked.
"What's the connection we're talking about that?" I asked in astonishment. "We are talking about my father, and we are not talking about the underground floor here."
"Yes. We are talking about your father so I invited him to our conversation on the underground floor because ......"
"Because what is Don Guillermo?"
"Because your father was there. That's where my son put Emmanuel because he made him a captive," he said and I was even more nervous. "And he's going to kill him. He's just waiting for my signal."
He brought his face slightly closer. "You trust the wrong person and do you think you have an ally in this mansion? Then, you're wrong." He smiled widely "We are all your enemy and you just a slave. A slave to feed the thirsty of my son." he said and laughed.
I couldn’t believe what he told me I wouldn’t have believed what he was telling me, but I suddenly remembered I heard a shout from there on the underground floor. A cry as if he was carrying severe pain.
What I witnessed came back to my mind, even though I had never been there again. The threats Wrum made come back to my mind, the tight security there and why he didn’t want me to step on that underground floor.
Maybe what he's telling me isn't true. I shouldn’t be affected by what he says.
He is a liar.
But no matter what I repeat, I still can't help but believe what he's telling me.
"How can I be sure that what you're telling me is true Don Guillermo?" I asked me.
"I'm sure you'll believe me Silic if you go there on the underground floor." He said. "I know Wrum forbids you to step on it. But for you to believe me. Well, do it secretly Silic."
I swallowed at what he told me. Don Guillermo was right. I had to go to the underground floor myself to make sure that what he was telling me was pure lies.
He sat properly and at the same time, he drank the juice. After he drank it, he put it back on the table.
"Well I guess, I've already said what I should tell you Silic. This is what I promised sooner I'll tell you about your father Silic." the juice was now on a half glass "And don't tell this to Wrum. He might get your father down there and he'll move it without you knowing." he added.
He turned his gaze to his watch and immediately turned his gaze back to me.
"We're done talking," he said and immediately stood up. "See you soon."
He passed my seat and did not tell anything. Is that a lie or a truth? Will I believe him or not? Well, at least Don Guillermo is not saying that my father is dead. I'm still thankful that he's alive, but I just can't accept if it's in Wrum's hands.
I'm going to be crazy this time.
Oh My God. This is getting worse as I thought it was.
My father is on the underground floor.
