Zane’s pupils dilated as information flooded his mind — symbols, formulas, chants, concepts far beyond mortal thought. It wasn’t painful. It was heavy. Like chains dragging across the fabric of his soul.
Chains formed from his shadow, floating and glowing faint violet — snaking across his body before fading into his skin like tattoos made of ancient runes.
"...So this is what it means to bind something," he muttered.
Nyx gasped. Even Link went quiet.

Nyx floated closer. "Zane... that aura... you could bind the world itself if you grow stronger."
Zane exhaled. "Good. I’ll start with those who dared chain me first."
And with that, he turned toward the blocked exit, shadows already stirring at his fingertips.
