Trace of you Novel

Leo fears an emotion slowly consuming his heart, but discovers that Alana can provoke something far more unsettling than he ever imagined. After finishing lunch, Alana asks what they should do, only to be rebuffed by Leo, who insists on being left alone. Undeterred by his refusal, Alana suggests accompanying him to read in the back garden. When Leo firmly declines, Alana disregards his rejection entirely and announces they will go anyway. Leo questions whether she understands the meaning of "no," but Alana dismisses his objection. As Leo wheels himself away, Alana continues to push him forward despite his protests. Leo grows increasingly frustrated, telling her to stop and even asking if she has a death wish, but Alana remains obstinate and unyielding to his demands.
