Amina hurried through the street, quickening her pace as voices called out to her. The area was quiet, with only a few people scattered about, absorbed in their own concerns. When she heard her name called again, she recognized the voice immediately—it was one of the neighborhood boys causing trouble as usual. Despite having warned them repeatedly not to address her as "Aminatu," they persisted in doing so. Rather than confront them, Amina chose to ignore their taunts, knowing she had more important matters to attend to.
