At The Crossroad Novel

Zack, a writer, is traveling to Los Angeles to start a new position at Black Script, a prominent publishing company. When his car breaks down en route, he becomes stranded until James arrives to assist him. James brings Zack to the cabin he shares with his uncle, where Zack must adapt to the remote environment. With poor network connectivity and limited services, Zack finds himself unable to arrange alternative transportation. As James helps Zack acclimate to life at the cabin and introduces him to those around them, an underlying attraction between them begins to develop. Over time, both Zack and James open up about their identities to each other. Following these revelations, Zack discovers that James harbors secrets he refuses to share, despite Zack's attempts to encourage his trust.
